A little while ago, I was tagged by Kevin (and Trina) to play along in the Now & Then game. I have loved reading what my blogging friends used to be like some years ago (and how much we already had in common!), so I’m happy to play along as well.
For everybody who hasn’t seen it yet – Now & Then is a fun game created by Miranti to reminiscence who we once were and compare it to who we are today. It was so much fun looking back like that – and I hope I remember everything correctly!
Now: Ian McEwan, Martin Suter
Then: Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle, anything about horses
Now: William Fitzsimmons, James Vincent McMorrow
Then: Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks
Now: Gilmore Girls, Downton Abbey, Suits
Then: You’ve Got Mail, Emergency Room
Now: Friendly, seize the day, happy
Then: Dreamer, shy, calm
Now: Moving to London, volunteering in Brasil, working on my creative skills
Then: Go to Africa, become a writer, buy a horse
Now: Reading, writing, cooking, blogging
Then: Reading, painting, watching movies
This was so much fun! I wish I had kept a diary or something when I was a younger girl because I just really enjoy looking back.
Since I’m always curious what my blogging friends have like when they were younger, I’m tagging Helena, Siobhan, Freya and Hannah & Suruchi! I can’t wait to read your answers :)
I love this, Hannah!! I learned quite a few new things about you. :) And discovered I’m pretty sure I’d enjoy hanging out with both you & your younger self! ;)
Both now & then you seem pretty confident and sure of your aspirations, I love that!
This is so much fun, Hanna. Thanks for sharing :) I love you dreams now & then!
Loved reading this! We are pretty similar both now and then! I also want to volunteer, it has been a dream of mine for so long! I’m thinking Thailand on an elephant conservation. Plus if you do move to London let me know! :)
I loved reading this, it really made me think about how I have changed since 2006.
this is so great! i loved reading this & I love that you wanted a horse haha! A bunch of my friends have them so much work to keep – but so cool to have! Your dreams are so ambitious, good on ya!
Really great learning more about you, Hanna!! I would list Gilmore Girls as my “then” – I used to LOVE that show so much!!!! And James Vincent McMorrow is definitely a good listen…love his music!
What a fun sort of list to create.

So cute! I loved this. I was all about horse books when I was little, too!
